2002 jeep grand cherokee no start no gauges

May 12, 2016 · i have a 2002 jeep grand Cherokee with the inline 4.0. it is quite, and runs good when it is cold, or warming up, but once it hits the normal operating temperature the valves start ticking. i know these are prone to do that, but here is the issue. everyone complaining about the lifter noise, its when the engine is COLD and stops when it warms up. Oct 03, 2009 · I have had no problems at all with my Wrangler until about an hour ago. I just drove it to the mailbox and got back in to start it and nothing. The gauges will flicker, as in from 0-100mph or 0 rpm to 4000rpm or no fuel to a full tank, etc... and it will not start.
